CatWoman Cosplay Workouts
Quarantine Cosplay Finale
“No one ever finishes that proverb. “Curiosity killed the cat…but satisfaction brought it back.” “- CatWoman
Before Gotham reopens, let’s workout with CatWoman.
As a young girl, my dad was a Batman fan. We watched the old Batman Tv show with Adam West- where I first met this feline super villain.
As a teen I was reacquainted with her on the big screen, when they rebooted her in the movies.
She has caught the heart of both Batman and the whole world….
She is repeatedly featured in the DC Universe and is probably the most recognized DC villainess
I’m excited to show you the Cosplay workouts- but first let’s learn more about this meowing ninja anti- heroine
Fun Facts About CatWoman

Her real name is Selina Kyle

Fun Facts about the Celebrity Workouts
What these ladies did to squeeze into those tight kitty suits
Julie Newmar
never smoked, drank or took drugs during her time in Hollywood. She famously modified the catsuit by lowering the belt to her hips to show off her hourglass figure. She claims her healthy lifestyle kept her fit but she is also a trained dancer and danced in many films. Her mom was a Zigfield Follies dancer.
Eartha Kitt
started her career as a singer and being onstage is the ultimate workout. She was an early adapter to exercise and has been quoted saying “I start everyday with exercise” and prefers walking light weights and stretching. Her years as a formally trained dancer gave her that incredible physique.
Lee Meriwether
famously donned a sequin catsuit in her role. She was a model and beauty queen and I can find no record of her workouts. Maybe she’s born with it as she still looks fabulous today
Michele Pfiffer
did all her own whip stunts as Catwoman. She did the mannequin scene in one take. She trained for months in ballet, martial arts and yoga to prep for her Catwoman role. The latex catsuit was designed from a bodycast of her form. She needed assistance and baby powder to slide properly into it each day on set.
Halle Berry
watched videotapes of cats and worked with choreographer Anne Fletcher to nail the feline movements. She trained in capoeira, boxing and gymnastics to prep for the movie and followed a strict diet. Halle is a diabetic and opts for sugar free. She adopted one of the 43 rescue cats shown on screen, even though she considers herself as a dog person
Anne Hathaway
really went hardcore to get the toned look the role required- she did interval training of Cardio Strength and Ab Work. Additionally she did dance, martial arts, stunt training and bikram yoga to prepare.
Now onto the workouts:
"That’s part of the rule. Never quit. Never let them see you’re afraid. Above all—never let them see you’re hurt. Never let them see you cry. Never."- Catwoman
And she was definitely not afraid of the chair….
