I do remember being handed a care bear a book and watching cartoons to learn about human emotions:)

Which is prob how I found myself plunking down for a bunch of Care Bear workout outfits from Shein…

Here’s my honest review about the Casre Bear x Shein collab items I bought

A few Years Back I Initially Reviewed Shein’s Activewear on the blog- so check it out if you haven’t already.

The Care bears were invented in 1981 artist Elena Kucharik to be used on greeting cards from American Greetings.

They were turned into plush bears and given a movie named Care Bears In The Land Without Feeling

Keep in mind this was at the height of 80s yuppy me decade stuff. Our parents were thrilled they could go back to smoking Kools at some key party instead of talking about friendship with their 5 years olds

In 2021 Shein became the most downloaded app on IOS an android in the US. They have a 40 percent stake of the fast fashion market with 16 billion in sales.

Care Bears were heavy licensed from the start so Its no surprise to see them partnered with Shein, one of the worlds leading fast fashion companies

Last week I reviewed my purchases from Dc Comics and Shein collab

I have to say that the Care Bears collection seams to be made a bit nicer

It’s softer and has less of a fake sheen to it

The price point on the Care Bears items is a bit higher so that old adage of your get what you pay for rings true

Shein has different lines. Care Bears is produced under Shein X which is usually designed by up and coming designers and made with nicer materials and yes sliced higher in prices

Over the summer I bought the shorts and a sports bra not pictured. The colors are so bright and for winter I would pair in the studio with this purple Care bear drop shoulder sweatshirt

I love the design and fit but I did go a size up for it to be this oversized.

note that like many of shein “sweatshirts” this isn’t actually fleece it’s a terry so not super warm. It is suitable for layering and working out

The cartoon graphic white leggings and sports bra fit like a glove and this got me the most compliments

Men and women alike loved the way it hugged my curves. The pockets are cute but a tad on the small side.

This mauve long sleeve tee ands legging combo was easily my favorite piurchase. It is super flattering and comfortable. It is okay for pilates but prob not so great for high impact activities. It fits like something you would get out of lulu or alo so I would grab this one before it sells out
