Stay home and stay safe with me- grab a block and booty band for this intense balance focused Pilates fusion workout.
Blocks are used often in Yoga but are a great way to enhance your Pilates practice.
They help with body alignment, strength, range of motion, stability- and of course- BOOTY GAINS.
This routine will use the blocks to challenge your balance, activate your core and burn the glute muscles in a safe and effective way. Plus- if you’re wristy like me- the blocks can really help you find better hand placement in plank and quadruped position so you dont stress your carpal tunnel!
Booty Bands are resistance bands that are fit into a loop.
Im using a latex set but you can also buy fabric ones if you are latex sensitive. It’s like having a Pilates studio that fits into your pocket. You can really target and tone your core, lower body and arms at a variety of resistance levels with a band kit. Let’s activate multiple muscle groups at once with this tiny prop that packs a bunch
If you don’t have a block- you can use a book or a box. If you don’t have a band you can tie up an old pair of leggings.
