Best Hip Stretch with CatWoman Week 2 #HalloweenFITFun
Best Hip Stretch with Catwoman
Feel Good Feline Flexibility
Stretch Your Legs Hips Butt & Thighs with Selina Kyle
Part of being Gotham’s finest cat burglar mean maintaining fierce hip mobility and flexibility. You can’t slither into banks and heist jewelry stores without it!
"My world is all just shades of grey, Batman. That’s why you’ll never really understand me.”
Occasionally you’ll find Catwoman stealing Batman’s heart or - teaching a flexibility workout here on the blog.
I did a full intro post here a few months back - and the leading women that donned the cat suit and played her.
Check that out here
For #HalloweenFITFun - I wanted to dive deep into a flexibility workout that will open your hips and give you a cat stretch like no other!
Unlike heisting a high tech security protected jewelry store-this workout should be suitable for most levels.
We will flow into a series of moves from Pilates, Yoga and Functional Range Conditioning in this 25 minute workout
My favorite thing about Catwoman is that she often doesn’t possess any real superpowers.
This does vary from movie to movie and from comic era to comic era, but she generally just burglars so much, she just gets incredibly good at it.
And the same can be said about anything- do it over and over again- it just becomes second nature.
If you’re new to mindful movement- just keep practicing.
This workout would be great to practice on the evening and wind down after a long day of cracking whips!
If you’ve been on your feet or at a desk, lets stretch out those legs hips and backsides so we can restore our spinal health and feel kitty spectacular.
As I mentioned in Week 1, this year for #HalloweenFITFun, each week I would be honoring a friend that has passed.
Nancy De Sa was a friend and client, and passed a few months before I started my YouTube channel. She had Cerebral Palsy and survived Lymphoma, and was truly one of the most fierce woman warriors I’ve ever met.
She greatly inspired me to start this channel and to keep going, even when the odds have seemed against me.
Although she had hired me to devise a workout plan that would strengthen her around the confines of the CP- ultimately I became the student.
She taught me that perseverance is not an option. It’s the only way guaranteed for success and we can always choose how we play the hands we are dealt.
We never have to accept the circumstances we are given
We can see them as challenges we need to rise above.
If you are moved to- please donate to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
