Get ready to stretch your Legs- Classic Pilates Style

The Pilates Ladder Barrel is a piece of equipment many of us don’t have the cash or space for.

One of my favorite series on it is called the Ballet Stretches.

I’m no ballet dancer but this series will lengthen your legs, thighs, sides, hips, butt and work on your balance.

I have modified it to work on the BootyKicker barre or any piece of furniture in your home like a chair countertop couch table or bench

The best part is- these are suitable for all levels

I’m using a block under my feet since my bar is not adjustable. You can play with a lower height chair to make things less intense or higher heights for more intensity.

You can do these before or after a workout- or just on their own

Either way- focus on the standing leg really stabilizing you and engaging your core and articulating through your spine
